Participation in the YPIRAC program is voluntary. The first priority of the program will be for people under the age of 50. COAG has determined that responsibility for the day-to-day management of the program should rest with state and territory governments and that implementation should take into account the individual circumstances that apply in each jurisdiction. A bilateral “model agreement” containing a detailed description of the programme, the roles and responsibilities of the parties, as well as the requirements for evaluation and performance reporting, is available for information. Type of bilateral agreement – COAG Younger People with Disability in Residential Aged Care Program [ top ] (b) is doing everything in its power to reach an agreement with these bodies on the proposed decision.
