So, if you haven’t noticed I love things that are non-traditional. Originally, I had been planning our wedding somewhat around the available flowers, but then it dawned on me. Who says I have to have fresh flowers? Sure, I will have some flowers, but what if the bridesmaids carried something else down the aisle?
Here are some of the things I thought about:
.(lollipops).
.(balloons).
.(umbrellas).
.(pinwheels).
.(fabric flowers).
.(paper Flowers).
.(flowers made from sewing patterns).
What else? Any other ideas on something unique the bridesmaids could carry down the aisle?
Hi there, I love all your ideas of paper flowers and the umbrellas for your wedding, but there is one thing I would like to tell you about and I hate to spoil your big day, but I would not really do the balloons. Yes, it really looks great, but once the balloons loose their air, they fall to the ground, where birds and animals eat them and could possibly die from them. Why don’t you let some doves fly into the air. It is most beautiful when you see it and I am sure you would love it. Hope you don’t mind me writing to you about this. Have a wonderful wedding
